Ever look in the mirror and think, “It’s time for a change?” That’s been happening a lot lately. So yesterday, I decided to cut off 9” of hair and start anew with a chin-length bob.
My hair hasn’t been this short in over a decade, and it’s taking some getting used to. Yesterday, I passed a mirror and didn’t even recognize myself. But it feels kind of fresh and easy, so that’s nice. (Especially in a year when nothing feels fresh or easy.)
The great thing about hair is that it grows. You can cut it, color it, change it up and do it all again. So here’s to the power of a fresh chop, however long it lasts.
