It’s been a long time since I had a case of the Sunday Scaries, but last night, it was terrible. I did not want it to be Monday.
Like so many ambitious, high-achieving women, I have overfilled my plate like a teenage boy at an all-you-can-eat-buffet. Something is going to have to give, but I’ll be damned if I know what it is. You may want to have it all, but there’s only so much bandwidth (especially now, when our collective ‘surge capacity’ is seriously depleted).
But if I can make it through this afternoon, I can, hopefully, find a little room to breathe. Until then, let’s take a minute to Break Things.
