#BreakThings: She Shattered That Glass Ceiling
Today’s issue starts off by celebrating the life of SCOTUS Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and finishes with a little bit of good advice that we could all use in these difficult times. Let’s break something!
Justice Ginsburg had the most enviable marriage of all time. Read more about her partner, Marty Ginsburg, and learn why picking the right partner (or no partner at all) may be the most important thing that a woman will ever do.
And if you haven’t see the movie On the Basis of Sex about RBG’s life and legacy as champion for women’s rights, don’t miss it.
Cooking burnout is real. Last night, I stared into the cupboard for 20-minutes willing an idea to appear. We ordered gyros. Sure, it was an idea, but ordering this much Seamless is contracting my bank account and expanding my waistline.
I’m trying to make time for myself every afternoon, but I don’t always have time for a daily sanity walk. When I can’t leave my desk, I do a five-minute meditation from Headspace to clear my mind and lift me up.
That was fun. Let’s do it again tomorrow! And don’t forget to tell your friends.
