How do we fit back into the way life used to be, when we’ve been stuck in pandemic-normal for so long?
When I first started going to work again, everything felt rusty — my social skills, my small talk, my tolerance for noise, crowds, etc.. It’s a very discombobulating experience. And as I contemplate going back to crowded restaurants and bars, maybe a trip or a concert, it feels a little overwhelming.
But I’m looking forward to it, and we’ll all need to tend to our mental health as we awake from this forced slumber.
