As summer approaches, and the days get longer, our 10-month old rescue, Stella, has started rising with the sun.
This morning, that meant a 5:04 AM wake up call.
I didn’t know there was such thing as a ‘morning dog,’ but I’ve got one. Because once Stella is awake, the zest for life takes over. There are toys to chew, kibbles to be eaten, squirrels to chase, and we are burning daylight.
I swear, Jesus sent me this dog to prepare me for children. Loving her when she’s barking in my ear at 5:00AM is an exercise in patience.
Do they make sleep masks for dogs? Asking for a friend.
I was raised on Strawberry Pretzel Salad. It’s a sweet, salty layer of pretzels, topped with a layer of cream cheese spread, and then a layer of strawberry Jell-O. (My Mom makes it with as little Jell-O as possible because the jiggly concoction makes me gag.) It is a Southern picnic/barbecue staple.
Princess Pinky Girl has the recipe. And if you don’t like strawberry, there is also a pineapple version.
In Europe, you have a right ti disappear from the Internet. In America, you can barely delete a social media profile without difficulty. USA Today shows you how to begin the untidy business of deleting social email accounts, Amazon accounts and more to reduce your Internet presence.
I started a new series on my blog called “So Nice, I Bought It Twice” for all the items that I consider must-haves. Number two on that list? This Peter Thomas Roth Niacinimide Treatment that stops acne and dark marks in their tracks.
It has saved my skin. Don’t miss it.
I just started the Spectacle podcast, and I am loving it. It covers the history of reality TV from the Real World through to today. It’s really interesting to hear how we went from a world dominated by scripted television to one where “reality” reigns supreme.
