This week was one of those weeks where you wake up on Friday with no idea where the time has gone or what it was used to accomplish.
It was the first really cold week here, and I realized that I am not prepared for winter. I am not prepared for it to be dark when I wake up. I am not ready.
The seasons will change and the time will pass, and I’m just trying to give myself a little grace.
I missed my morning workout all but one day this week. Sometimes I have five-minutes, but not a second more, and it doesn’t feel like enough. But The Cut rounded up eight “teeny tiny” workouts to give you results without sucking away your time. They’re perfect for the days when you.just.cannot.do.it.

I like to plan a Saturday morning breakfast. Maybe brunch outside, or a batch of overnight French Toast. Just something to look forward to and roust me out of bed on a day when I would rather be in it.

Morning routines are not for everyone. And frankly, some of the more elaborate ones stress me out. But a routine can be just one thing that you do for yourself every morning, it doesn’t have to be a production.

I bought the Vuori leggings a few months back, and I love them. I put them on and just breathe a sigh of relief. Their joggers are also incredible. You can find their line at Nordstrom now also.
I usually try to do a longer list on Friday, but today was not the day.
I hope you take a breath and a break this weekend. Do yourself a favor: turn your phone off for just two hours tonight before bed, and do anything else. You’ll thank yourself in the morning.
