It’s 2:17AM on a Monday night Tuesday morning. This is the only time that I have to write this newsletter, to finish the Substack retrofit that I started four weeks ago.
I just spent three hours finalizing the graphics, picking the articles, tweaking the logo. The battery on my Mac is about to die. My dogs are bleary eyed, begging me to join Kyle in bed. The baby monitor is propped up in front of me, it’s pale blue light illuminating my keyboard, and I am silently willing my 14-month-old to stay asleep.
