The Sunday Best: And We Begin Again

I started 2022 newly pregnant, newly employed as a civil litigator, and with a lot of hope for the year to come. I end it with a terrible cold, in a rented house, having left my firm to return to Montana (temporarily), in a different city than my husband and child (temporarily), with a dog who just got out of emergency surgery, but still hopeful for the year to come.
