When I changed the theme of this newsletter some months ago, I knew I wanted to do an interview series. Over the past decades, I’ve met so many incredible women who may not be famous or known, but who have incredible stories to tell. Stories about life, love, career, parenthood, and the ups and downs of carving a place for yourself in the world.

For our first week, I want to introduce you to my friend Alex Gagne. The creative force behind Chez Gagne, a cheeky lifestyle brand with celebrity fans and a coveted place on the shelves of Whole Foods, Alex and I met when we were both folding jeans at a clothing boutique in Bethesda.
